Juggling high school as a senior, advanced pageant competition, acting, Girl Scouts, choir, and career planning takes serious dedication. How do you manage your time and keep your energy up across so many different creative and leadership spaces?

Because I am still in high school and I’m now a senior, I am able to pursue my acting and my singing both through school. My Girl Scout troop tries to meet at least once a week but a lot of the times we can’t. My mom happens to be my Girl Scout troop leader, which makes doing things with Girl Scouts much easier. My mom will sign me up for things as well as the other girls in my troop, so if there is a Girl Scout event for central in Southern New Jersey, you will find me there.

I do work and I’m able to do that after school so that for the most part does not interfere with my schedule. So far the only pageants that I have done have been during the summer except for the coast to Coast regional pageant, which was a weekend in May which did not interfere with my school schedule.

Juggling all these things is usually pretty easy, but it definitely has its rough patches. I will sometimes have long nights at work getting out at almost 2 in the morning and the next day have to go to school and stay at rehearsal until 7 PM. I manage my time wisely, take breaks when I need to, and Communicate.

Winning Miss Personality right out of the gate in your first year shows a natural connection with people, and now you’re stepping onto the international stage as the Northeast Grand Ambassador. How has your pageant journey shaped your confidence and your voice?

Winning Miss personality during my first year of pageant definitely gave me a huge boost of confidence. it not only led to me, wanting to continue pageants, but it also led to opening up more opportunities for myself.

I have always been comfortable being myself, which is always a big help in the pageant world. I’d like to say that pageantry helped me mature in a way that high school can’t do. The more pageants that I do, the more comfortable I get on the stage.

My confidence and comfortability helped me to achieve the Northeast grand ambassador for the coast-to-coast pageant this past May, which invited me to the international finals. I took this as a learning experience for myself. I learned from so many people things that I haven’t been able to teach myself. pageant life really gave me confidence and more comfortability in my voice.

You’ve been acting since 2021. What has been the most exciting or challenging part of bringing characters to life on screen or stage, and how does performance experience help you when you're modeling or competing?

Because I have only been acting for five years it is still a challenge for me to embody myself in different characters. I really enjoy working with people and other actors and actresses, especially in my school. I love when we all come together for the acting shows in our school and help each other get in to character.

Most recently I played a nice school Girl who then later in the show becomes a old-time British peasant who then dies. It wasn’t super hard to channel myself into the nice school girl although it was a drastic shift to go from that to a 1800s British peasant.

With constant practicing and tips for my director it then became super easy to transform between the two. I’d like to bring my acting onto stage with me because it shows off my personality. I am able to do that by showing off my facial expressions over body movements.

Having been in Girl Scouts since you were five years old, you’ve built a massive foundation in leadership and service. What core values from Scout life do you carry into your modeling and daily routines?

Being a Girl Scout since I was five years old has left me with so many life-changing opportunities. It has shaped me into such an amazing young woman, and I strive to continue all work after I graduate from Girl Scouts, which is why I plan on opening up my own Girl Scout troop.

The core values that I carry from Girl Scouts to the stage has to be my community service work. Serving my community has always been one of the things I love doing most with my Girl Scouts.

From cleaning up parks, to caroling to senior homes, to even donating to the military during Christmas time. Girl Scouts and community work are part of who I am and I love the amount of love, support, and care that I give to my community.

You’ve been singing in choir since you were eight or nine. How does music and vocal performance influence your creative expression and your presence in front of the camera?

Because I have been singing in Choir since I was in elementary school, it really shaped me to becoming who I am today. The different genres of music that I sing listen to and perform to are so diverse and all show off different personalities. I especially love Indie rock music and musicals.

For hype ups I love to listen to 2010s pop music because it really gets me moving and I love that sort of vibe. I like to think that I am a friendly genuine person which sort of reflects on the kind of music that I like to listen to.

I love to dance and have fun which correlates with the musicals and the 2010s pop music. I also have the more calming side, which is more who I am on a daily basis, which correlates with the Indie rock type music.

With two more pageants coming up this August and international competition on the horizon, what are your major goals for the rest of the year, both on and off the runway?

With my two upcoming pageants, my main focus is to focus on myself. I usually get so nervous when I’m on stage, but if I keep working on keeping myself as the main focus in my mind, I believe that I will continue to have the confidence I need to shine on the stage.

As a high school senior looking toward the future, you have your sights set on cosmetology and/or special education. What drew you to these specific paths, and how do you see them fitting into your long-term dreams?

Since maybe around the beginning of middle school, I knew I loved working with children but then as I got older, I grew a special interest in working with children with special needs because I have personal relationships with children with special needs and I have worked with them previously unpaid, and I feel that the way I am able to communicate with children with special needs is a lot different than the way other people can and I’ve been told that I have a gift for children and I believe that I do because I am very comfortable with working with children even if I have a harder time with certain children, I always always always give it my all and try my hard to reach their needs. in seventh grade is when I started peeking an interest in cosmetology.

That is when I started experimenting on myself with things like cutting my own hair and dying my own hair. I cut and dyed my hair from sixth grade until current day I have had bangs layers and I’ve dyed my hair every color in the book. My freshman year I started doing nails for fun and it has been something that stayed with me although I don’t do nails anymore I still am so fascinated with the art and hard work that goes in to doing hair and doing nails.

Between getting stage-ready for pageants, memorizing lines, and heading to photo shoots, what is your absolute go-to pre-show snack or hype song to get yourself fully pumped up?

My favorite pick me up snacks are definitely my tru fru . I also every day love to have either a Celsius or a mini Starbucks coffee that I can get at any store. While getting ready, I love to listen to artists like Kesha, pitbull, and the song, American boy by Estelle and Kanye. I love the vibes that they give me and they just boost my mood, especially if I have to get ready super early in the morning.

If a movie was being made about me and everything that I juggle in my everyday life, which actor would you cast to play you, and what would the title of the movie be?

If there were a movie being made about me and everything that I juggle in my everyday life, I would pick Dove Cameron to play me. with her past role as now in the descendants series, the emotion that she puts into her acting, can embody the struggles of real life. All of her past and present roles are also different from each other.

The main reason I would choose Dove Cameron is from the show that she stars in called Liv and Maddie. She plays both Liv and Maddie, who are too completely different. Twin sisters and the acting is so diverse between the two of them and it just shows how her acting style ranges and what she is capable of.

A great movie name that I would pick would be the Royal Spotlight. Royal coming from my pageant and Spotlight coming from the fact that I am always in the spotlight whether it’s on stage for singing, acting walking the runway or being in my community.
